This is the video which inspired me to drink some greens in the morning.  When you only have 10 minutes in the morning to prepare and eat your breakfast , which also has to be nutricious enough to last you through the next 4-5 hours of lectures and fitness classes, green smoothie satisfies all my criteria!  It’s got your minimum 3 servings of frut, a few leafs of greens count as your veggies and it’s just packed with wholesomeness and sweetness.  Looove it!

Veganomicon coverI have received my Veganomicon copy last Thursday and couldn’t take my eyes off it for the whole week.   The book looks really impressive:

 

I haven’t been able to try out many recipes simply because I have never heard of many ingredients and have no idea on where and when to buy them. One of the only recipes that I was able to try out was the Jelly Donut Cupcakes which I baked once for my brothers birthday and once for me and Alex. Here’s the pic of the birthday ones:

I have edited them a bit by inserting some raisins which I thought made them pretty cute 🙂 and because the dough has baked over the jelly too much so they didn’t really resemble a donut I inserted some cranberries in the center.
